1. Senior Completion Engineer
These personnel will have 20-25 or more years of International drilling, testing and completions experience, with extensive experience in SE Asia preferred. Engineering personnel are to have a degree from a recognized University along with operational experience. Experience with International Operators is a plus. Fluent spoken and written English are essential along with Computer literacy in the most common MS Programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook etc. A proven track record of safe and efficient project delivery is a plus. Must have current IWCF Well Control and Sea Survival certification.
Provide operational and engineering supervisory services in connection with testing, completion, and drilling operations using barge, semisubmersible, jack-up, land or heli rig Drilling Units working in COMPANY Area of Operations. The work will include, but not be limited to, the operational and engineering planning to facilitate the described drilling project and as per instructions from the COMPANY Drilling Manager or his designated representative. Personnel will be responsible for training, development and technology transfer to National employees in “state of the art” drilling, testing and completion practices.
These personnel will be office based in Jakarta but will be expected to liaise closely with and, if necessary, assist the rig-based staff on site as required by the Drilling Manager. These Personnel may be rotational and in addition to the assistance referred to above the Personnel will be required to make regular visits to the Drilling Unit.
Detailed Duties
1. Provide HSE Leadership in the engineering planning and execution of all COMPANY drilling, testing and completion operations.
2. Lead the Front End Loading (FEL) process to define, select, perform detailed engineering and well planning to produce the highest efficiency well construction.
3. Conduct and supervise the detailed well engineering efforts:
• Lead the FEL Process
• Develop Basis for Design
• Prepare workscope and specification exhibits for drilling tenders
• Prepare technical evaluation criteria for tenders
• Prepare commercial evaluation spreadsheets for tenders
• Conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations
• Organize and conduct pre-spud and hole section meetings in office and on rig site
• Conduct and/or supervise the detailed well engineering to include the following:
› Anticipated problems and recommendations (offset analysis)
› Tubing design and material selection
› Packer design
› Perforation designs
› Stimulation designs
• Prepare and submit drilling programs
• Prepare and submit testing programs
• Prepare and submit well AFE
• Provide engineering support to drilling operations
• Review invoices
• Provide safety leadership in the planning and execution of all operations
• Develop Risk Management Plan
• Coordinate data gathering requirements from Sub-surface Department
• Coordinate negotiation with Sub-surface Department to define optimum final target locations
• Establish performance targets
• Coordinate the development of Management of Change Procedures
• Coach/train/mentor Senior Drilling Engineers and Completions and act as the Technical Head for their work
• Participate in development of the HSE plans and policies:
4. Prepare equipment and service specifications for tender packages and evaluate the bidder submissions. Recommend contract awards to the best qualified lowest bidder.
5. Evaluate new technologies for potential use in COMPANY operations to improve safety, efficiency and delivery of COMPANY wells.
6. Plan, order and schedule necessary materials and COMPANY Drilling Unit Contractor and COMPANY subcontractor s services to avoid delays in the operation.
7. Discuss and cooperate with related specialized technical personnel within COMPANY and with COMPANY Subcontractors during operations to reach the best method to execute the drilling program or resolving technical issues or problems during the performance of drilling program.
8. Evaluate cement bond logs, perforating operations and all pressure testing of equipment and casings.
9. Review the performance of COMPANY Subcontractors and advise on negotiation, renewal and termination of contracts. This may include a root cause analysis of any equipment failures.
10. Recommend equipment and procedural changes to increase efficiency of operations.
11. Ensure that COMPANY environmental policies are complied with at drill site.
12. Perform any similar or related duties as assigned by COMPANY Drilling Manager.
13. Upon instruction from COMPANY, personnel shall prepare and conduct training for Indonesian personnel, designated by COMPANY, to transfer technology and knowledge of drilling, testing and completion practices.
14. Perform the Services pursuant and in accordance with all COMPANY and Governmental rules, regulations and laws.
15. Along with Drilling Superintendent and Drilling Operations Engineers will:
• Ensure pre-spud and pre-job meetings are held
• Supervise and certify pre-acceptance of any Drilling Unit, equipment and/or tubular inspections
• Assist in preparing load out sheets and checking equipment requirements during load out and before jobs
Prepare rig site recommendations for operational and logistics improvements for end of well reports.

3. Helicopter Landing Officer
Division : Supply Base
Department : Logistics
Tasks & Responsibilities
1. Receive and transmit communications using Single Side Band (SSB) radio, Ground to Air radio, Marine Radio, Facsimile and telephone equipment in accordance with government regulations. May repair equipment.
2. Operate radio equipment in order to communicate with ships, aircraft, crews, offshore oil rigs, Base camps and other remote operations.
3. Turn controls or throw switches in order to activate power, adjust voice volume and modulation, and set transmitters on specified frequencies.
4. Broadcast weather reports, warnings and instruction to company chartered vessel and the Helicopter.
5. Conduct periodic equipment inspections and routine tests in order to ensure that operations standards are met.
6. Coordinate radio-related aspects of locating and contacting supply vessels / ships that are missing or in distress.
7. Examine and operate new equipment prior to installation in order to ensure that it performs properly.
8. Repair radio equipment as necessary, using electronic testing equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
9. Review applicable regulations regarding radio communications and its license, and report violations.
10. Communicate with receiving operators in order to exchange transmission instructions.
11. Maintain station logs of messages transmitted and received for activities such as flight testing and fire locations.
12. Monitor emergency frequencies in order to detect distress calls and respond by advising Base Managers etc.
