SCHOLARSHIP S3 Habibie Center
Foundations of Human Resources in Science and Technology (HR-Science and Technology Foundation) was established by prof. Dr.-Ing. B.J. Habibie (former president of Indonesia) in 1997. Agency board of trustees is chaired by Prof. Dr. Ing. Wardiman Djojonegoro, former Minister of Education and Culture, and has a goal:
• Realising human resources in Indonesia are superior and have the qualities of Faith and Takwa high.
• To control, develop and control the science and technology independently.
To achieve the above objectives, the Foundation performs the following tasks:
• Giving scholarships to level S3 (Doctorate)
• Provide awards and prizes to the person or agency who had been instrumental, or to make a breakthrough in the field of Science and Technology (Habibie Award).
• Developing Human Resources in Science and Technology (Science).
• Establish or assist in the establishment of Center for Science and Technology Demonstration.
S3 Scholarship
Scholarships are awarded 2 (two) times a year, namely:
a. Period in May
Forms must reach the organizers no later than 21 April for the year.
b. Period November
The registration forms submitted at the latest on October 20.

Requirements for scholarships S3.
• Maximum age 35 years.
• Did not receive scholarships from the institution or other sources.
• It is acceptable or has obtained a certificate received in the S3 program at the college or institution located in Indonesia.
• During the program S2, S3 scholarship recipients must obtain a minimum value or cum laude, ranked 5th.
• Applicants must submit two recommendations from scientists in the field of science and technology.
• Applicants must show leadership in their field and have a level of high integrity and creativity.
Registration and selection process
• Applicants must complete the registration form completely along with supporting documents.
• The selection of scholarship recipients is determined in a trial board of experts who have been determined by the Foundation.
• Selection is based on the 5 (five) groups of disciplines namely:
1. Basic Sciences Group,
2. Group of Medical Science and Biotechnology,
3. Group of Engineering Science,
4. Group of Social Science, Law, Economics and Politics,
5. Science Group Philosophy, Religion and Culture.
Scholarship allowances provided by the form:
• tuition fees (SPP) and fund another study,
• final allowances,
• cost benefits book / photocopy,
• cost of living allowances,
• benefits from the regional transport costs to the college (if the time of application in areas outside the place of learning)
