EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY International Power Mitsui Operations & Maintenance Indonesia (IPMOMI) a subsidiary of International Power Mitsui LLP, and a world leader in the development of co-generation and independent power plants is assigned to manage, operate and maintain coal fired power plant located in Paiton, Probolinggo East Java, (Unit 7/8 & Unit 3), owned by PAITON ENERGY. We are seeking a qualified Indonesian professional to fill the post of:
1. SHIFT SUPERVISOR
– Production Reporting to the Production Manager this position provides first line management for a shift learn engaged in the operations of Paiton coal fired generating facilities. The Shift Supervisor will manage the operation of a coal fired electric: generating facility for maximum efficiency and output while maintaining environmental compliance and employee safety. He coordinates with PLN on system operational matters including load scheduling & conducts shift hand over meeting with other shift teams.
2. SENIOR OPERATOR TECHNICIAN
– Production To operate, maintain and direct the operation of a coal fired generating facility, under Shift Supervisor direction. Frequent contact witch Dispatcher (PLN grid Operator) to confirm the load schedule and maintain the load requested. Responsible for coordination of operation and maintenance activities on the unit(s) when it does not affect generation. Required to Monitor equipment conditions using at indication in the control room and local to the plant. Diagnose equipment (problems, report abnormal conditions to Shift Supervisor, take corrective action to rectify abnormal conditions.
3. OPERATOR TECHNICIAN-2
– Production Reporting to and under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor and/ or Sr. Operator Technician, he will be responsible for Operating of equipment for stopping, starting and/ or regulating plant equipment and systems. Carry out regular plant inspections and plant readings and direct operator/ Technician to do likewise. Start up and shutdown plant equipment locally and from the control room.
4. OPERATOR TECHNICIAN-1 – Production Reporting to and under the supervision of the Shift Supervisor and/or Sr. Operator Technician, he will be responsible for operating of equipment for stopping, starting and/or regulating plant equipment and systems Carry out regular plant inspections and plant readings. Monitor equipment conditions using the local and control room metering. Diagnose basic equipment problems; report abnormal conditions to Shift Supervisor/ Senior Operator / Technician before taking corrective action for abnormal conditions.
5. CHEMIST ENGINEER – Production Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Chemist Engineer will manage the chemistry of the make up water system, water treatment plant, demineralisers, waste water systems & associated equipment and ensure compliance with Environmental and Dangerous Goods regulations. Run tests on plant water systems to determine the chemical constituents and take corrective actions as required to keep the boilers, CW system, feed system etc. within the prescribed treatment levels.
6. CHEMIST TECHNICIAN – Production Under the guidance of the Environment & Chemist Engineers, monitor and maintain all plant chemical activities; perform laboratory test; perform related technical work, associated with the environmental & chemical capabilities and standards at a coal fired generating facility. Monitor and maintain make up water system, pre treatment, SWRO, DWRO and demineralisers, including service water and potable water to determine the chemical constituents and take corrective actions as required to maintain them within prescribed limit. Carry out test on plant coal, fuel oil supply and incoming chemicals, including new oil; as necessary to ensure quality control.
7. PRODUCTION PROCESS ENGINEER – Production Responsible for co-ordination, collection of functions or activities relating to shift operation data, information, log sheets, all patrol/check list extending beyond normal day to day activities for Production Department. Monitoring all functions relating to unit efficiency testing, plant investigations, plant modification, plant commissioning and re-commissioning of generation report associated with mailfunction and interface with internal and external departments for monitoring plant performance and initiating changes to improve plant performance and high efficiency.
8. PLANT ENGINEER – Engineering Reporting in the Engineering Manager, the Plant Engineer will be responsible for coordination of engineering efforts in this area of expertise on asset management, maintain and improve plant performance and reliability with respect to plant equipment plant system and associated auxiliaries including plant optimisation and testing for the power plant.
9. PROJECT ENGINEER – Engineering The Project Engineer will working under Engineering Department and reporting to the Senior Project Engineer. The incumbent will be responsible for develop short medium and long term of plant overhaul (outages) program, major capital both on technical and financial. Responsible to manage and execute the project from project planning phase up to completion. Ensure the project execution to achieve effective result in terms of project objectives (time, cost, quality, safety) within Paiton Power Station.
10. PA - OPERATOR TECHNICIAN-1 - Fuel and Ash Under the direction of the F & A Supervisor responsible for the safe control and operation of Coal Handling facility, Ash Handing facility, Fuel Oil Handling facility, Central Waste Water Treatment Plant and associated plant, within limits, for maximum efficiency and output while maintaining environmental compliance inspect and maintains the Coal Plant equipment s.
11. PA – OPERATOR TECHNICIAN-2 - Fuel and Ash Under the direction of the F&A Supervisor responsible for the safe control and operation of Coal Handling facility, Ash Handling facility, Fuel Oil Handling facility, Central Waste Water Treatment Plant and associated plant, within limits, for maximum efficiency and output while maintaining environmental compliance . Inspect and maintain plant equipment, jetty coal unloading hopper, coal conveyor; stacker/reclaimer, emergency reclaimer hopper, transfer house, crusher, tripper, slots, heavy equipments.
12. MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR Mechanical / Electrical – Maintenance Reporting to and under the direction of tine Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor organises, and directs and monitor all aspects of maintenance activities in Paiton Power Station. Plans, schedule, and determine resources for all maintenance work taking into account the priority of each Work Over to ensure that the plant requirements for fast efficient & effective maintenance program is fulfilled.
13. TECHNICIAN OPERATOR Mechanical / Electrical / I & C – Maintenance Under the direction by the Maintenance Supervisor, maintains and perform maintenance activities of all equipment, and assist in the implementation of plant improvements and condition monitoring at Paiton Unit 7/8 & 3 and Permanent Operating Housing. Available at all the time to perform emergency maintenance as required with a tight schedule and working conditions in order to support Production activities. Stay overnight and long hours at Plant as deemed necessary within regulations.
General Requirements:
All candidates should have at least 5 years experiences and should have a relevant accredited degree with adequate training supported by power plant experience at a similar level in power station operations or maintenance, or in a similar industrial environment. Have good oral and written English communication skills.
